| Earlier editors | ...nagh. Badenoch is shown on Speed’s map of Scotland of 1610 and on Mercator’s British Isles of 1564. It may refer, as Gough suggests, t. Ruthven or Kingussie, but I think it refers t. the castle of the Comyns at Loch am Eilein (Parsons). |
